Introductory Robotics Program

    In the 8-week introductory robotics program students will gain hands-on experience learning the mechanics, functions and programming of a state of the art robots. This program is open to students in grades 6 through 12 and will be taught by Indiana Tech faculty experienced in robotics.

    In this introductory program, participants will:

    • Learn about the quadruped robot and how it is used in industry
    • Explore uses for different electronic components and sensors
    • Begin programming, using Arduino and Python languages
    • Program Hiwonder MechDog and TonyPi Humanoid Robots

    Dates

    This program is held in the Zollner Engineering Center on the Indiana Tech campus.

    • Session 1 meets Tuesdays 5:30 – 7:30 beginning October 14 through December 2.
